Baby Bears

I'm not Mark, yet, but I finally figured out a way to get some great bear pictures off a disc and onto the blog! I'm so happy. I have lots of pix that my father-in law has taken. He caught these 2 cubs in the feeder last year. Mama was close by. I'll share more as time permits. Enjoy these little guys. This is one of the joys of living in the mountains. Yeah, yeah, I know, I won't be saying that when they raid my beehives.

Oh, how precious! I know they are just dying to get to those bee hives.

WOW! Lynn, that is a great photo. I am sure those two were thinking -- "Gee, now if we can get a little higher, and Ben, if you can tip it to the side a little..all that seed will come pouring out!" How amazing is that? I just wish the Triad area cops could see this picture and get the point that the bears are not killers..they're just looking for a free meal. Another example was this past week it was in the newspaper that a bear was spotted in southern Greensboro. They actually put it in the newspaper along with the crime stories and the other lot they turn into news. But anyway, great picture and I can't wait to see what other treasures you find on those discs! Mark

It's worth a look.

I love seeing scans of older photos. Keep them coming.

These little cuties were just doing what they do! When hungry, find food and eat.

I looked closely at their location and unless I am badly mistaken, they were on your deck rail. How far away was mama bear?
